  1. Combing an acid (citric acid) with a base (baking soda) just neutralizes the substance. That's why the bath bombs froth and foam when they hit the water. They're not actually cleaning or disinfecting it.

  2. I find bin buddy is cheaper than essential oil for my bins. Also unused an old toothbrush for round my taps and hard water stains on my taps. Cheaper than a lemon. Chances are most ppl have cream cleaner or some spray cleaner, put it on the taps and use an old toothbrush you don't use simple and cheaper than a lemon (espcially in the UK)

  3. I use boarax and laundry detergentt and water to clean my furniture or washing soda and laundry detergent and oh water and clean my furniture smells amazing I go back and rinse and use a dry back to extract the water I got a dry back that you can either use a filter for water or a filter for sweeping it's amazing

  4. Speak of shaving cream (for mirrors?) anyhoo….I haven't shaved with it in years. Been using bar soap to lather up instead. Bar soap is just as soothing for shaving;, maybe moreso, and probably has only 5% of the carbon footprint of shaving cream given the can production and discard. Less to travel with too.

  5. I have sliding door that goes to my patio,it has over the years started to stick and be hard to open,I oil the tracks and then it opens very easily, now after years of doing this the oil builds up into the track and its disgusting, its hard to get out of the bar between the tracks and I need to find a way to clean this gunk easily..please help
