Speed clean with me! Today I am speed cleaning my messy home with these FIVE fast and easy cleaning tips. It doesn’t take long for my home to get dirty, but it also doesn’t take long to clean it up!
1) Use a Tidy Tote. Use can use anything as a tidy tote! Beach bags, diaper bags and laundry baskets work great. My tidy tote was from Walmart, but it is no longer available 🙁
2) One Product Wonder. Find ONE product for ALL your surfaces. I like Method glass cleaner, Mrs Meyer’s glass cleaner or homemade DIY cleaners with rubbing alcohol. DO NOT use a product with ammonia or vinegar, as they are not safe for stone or wood.
3) Spray and Walk Away. Let your product sit and soak on those really dirty surfaces so that you never have to scrub!
4) Dusting Wands are the bomb. Use them to speed dust everything including walls, picture frames, ceilings, light fixtures and all your surfaces. They “trap” the dust, so you can move fast and still have the same results.
5) Only focus on HIGH TRAFFIC areas for your floors and use a spray mop instead of a mop and bucket. A spray mop is faster, dries faster and no moving a bucket required!

Great advice, thank you!
This “tidy tote” idea is absolutely genius.
Great color themes in your home and yes the video is motivational to go and clean 😊
Excellent video! Greetings from Perú 😊
I'm so tired of cleaning up everyday. I realize they work but absolutely completely slobs at home. I'm am so over it
Chlorine will harm the gut microbiome, making their immune systems weaker. :/ You can use salt and blue dye in the pool to keep it sanitary and anti-fungal.❤
What cleaner can you use for all surfaces??
I appreciate this video very much. Thank you. So relatable.
When I do the spray and walk away I forget that I’ve spayed them 😂
What is the name of the vaccum?
Thx
You’re so awesome!!! Your tips were to the point! Absolutely love it!! Although this is an old video lol
Where can I get that bag?
I relate.😂
Thank you! From Manchester, England
I totally agree with you. I love my family, but sometimes you need your own space to clean by yourself. About your house being small… at least in the pandemic, you had a swimming pool. Other people reside in apartments.
ammonia is actually a really natural product. So no need to be scared of using that in bathroom. It’s completely biodegradable and actually a essential nutrient for plants.
i can relate, i live in a family of 6 and we all have to live in a small apartment and i love them but need my space.
LOVE this, thank you! The practical, expert guidance plus your humor and realness. Helpful as well as fun to watch.
During and after Covid, my husband works from home. Love him to death. But he gets to see all of my day, including naps!
Why would you not do that dusting first, before you wipe down surfaces? Seems like the dust would fall right down onto the surface you just wiped down.
OOH thank you so much! I really needed this tips:D
Not my TidyTote weighing 150 pounds cuz nothing is where it should be 😅
Anyone have a dusting wand recommendation?
replaying this for cleaning motivation this morning! seriously, still the best cleaning video ever haha "a quick dusty mcdoodle and you're done"! hahaha love it
Did you make the painting on the fireplace?? I love seeing this beautiful color throughout your home!!!
I love your videos they have inspired me to declutter and organize my entire home this summer. When i was done my husband took 780lbs of well “a hot mess” of stuff to the dump. Yup you read that right 780lbs. Now I am going to put my “ladybug” skills to good use in my classroom. Being a distance learning teacher really made it difficult to keep my classroom /home clean and organized going back and forth all year so I can’t wait to go back to my class and take all my school stuff back. My husband can’t wait either lol😂
how can you get use to saying eh all the time in Canada?
no no no no my brother is still alive had five seizures and a brain bleed doctor insisted on DNR but for once in life i said no he is a cleaner getting several jobs of that type im hoardewr trying to save everything including brother
Very motivated now to clean! 😁
Thanks ❣️🐞
I like your clutterbug quiz and its perfect analysis. Like your honesty . I started wearing my apron while cleaning felt like working crew from downtown Abbe 😂
You look so good! Haven’t watched in a long time and almost didn’t recognize you. You’re one of my favorite motivational cleaner/organizers.
If family members help, they will appreciate the task and keep the place at least neat.
Throwing dirty clothes on the floor is not a good or a clean habit.
Oh my gosh you are Awesome and hilarious!!!❤
I only have the hubby on the weekends and it’s a pain lol
Dusty McDoodle ! Love it!
Cass, do you still use smaller bins inside your tidy tote to deprecate by room or is it open space inside? I have a tote ordered but wondering if I need to be sizing smaller containers to go inside it.
Me too most of time I want to kick them out really it’s suffocating all mess in one person shoulder still thanks god forthis blessings
I understand the feeling that you want them to be somewhere that is else. Lol. 😉
I can relate so much!
Love the tote idea to keep from running back and forth to same rooms. 👍
You do NOT have a small house! COME ON! 🙄
Loved the video, great ideas!
I agree 100% with you. I need my time to even to just relax/me time. That's impossible around here. I have my mom living with my husband and I and that's enough. I help her take care of her self. I Love my life.
"Bring on the bleach!" Because, some germs don't die just from lavender or vinegar. And yes – thanks Corona! – everyone in the same space is overwhelming!
