Such a good video this.
Legend. Thank you
Such a good video this Ste, no waffling on saying a lot about nothing like a lot of the other videos on this topic, every word is thoughtful, matters and is to the point. Fantastic format.
Out of interest, would things such as sorting out damp, damp proofing etc come under structural? And what do you think the time frames are of this. Looking into a bungalow but need to make it at least liveable within 2 weeks, it has a lot of damp
This guy has a confusing use of the word first and second. You said first electrics, then went on to say first carpentry.
1:50 – Depends on whether or not you're having integrated appliances. I had to smash apart our kitchen units to remove a broken dishwasher the previous owners left behind as they had the flooring done after the units were put in because it was impossible to remove otherwise.
What about plumbing and electrics?
Amazing video thank you!
Looking at buying a doer-uppers and this is really helpful straight off the bat to know what order the work would be done in. Makes it a lot less daunting! 😅
Do you have a checklist for snagging. How long do you take with the snagging before payment. How can you know that all the snagging has been completed. What do you do if you have missed some snagging

Ste, another great video that you've put out there. Thank you loads! Keep going!
No costs 🙁
Can I ask when does gas central heating (including boiler and radiators) and internal insulation get done on the roof?
What a fantastic vid 👍🏼🙏🏼 thank you
Always fun to watch you guys!
How much was the renovation?
Any tips on how to find trusted well-priced contractors if doing a project quite far from where you live?
I don’t work on homes but I’ve worked on for commercial properties, shops, offices, shopping centres for 20 years. Have to admit I watched this video half thinking about what I’d disagree with…….. I don’t think there’s anything to disagree with. Very sensible project structure and very practical advice.
Great tips!
what a load of of bollocks
bang on !
Valuable information as always Ste ✊ I’m going to note down this whole process… I’m not a developer but I’m going to be picking up the keys to my first home in 10 days…
My question is though, the bungalow I’ve purchased needs a new roof and also damp treatment, so where would you recommend fitting this into the mentioned process? – many thanks!
amazing video, i gained a lot of knowledge that i was not aware of that is included in a refurb, the length of detail you went into with just a 4 minute video was really good especially for someone like me who is busy. thank you for this brilliant insight Ste!
Thank you very much!
Great tips, Ste!. Thank you for your great videos.
This should be a video series….. I really like this type of practical content! Keep them coming!
Education at its class.
Fantastic way of guidance.
This is great information 😎
Still the most practical property channel on YouTube. Keep up the great work
I see now how beautiful that house will be when is done. Like all yours precious one's. 💯🙏🔥
Good advice for the newbie and the seasoned professionals
Quality video ste – watched it 3 times already – also reminded me to make sure my mate gets a structural engineer for his chimney breast 👌👌👌
bro i owe you in life. when im up your defo receiving a gift from me. thank you for all the effort you go through for us
Very educational video, alot of great tips🙌🏽🙌🏽
Great value as always!
Just a couple of questions:
1) if you had to do reroof/repair/repaint when is that done?
2) if you change the layout of stairs or repair them, which trade does that and when?
Legend, needed this👊🏾
Loved it 🫡 We seem to be on the same page in the order of the steps. It all makes sense 👌Do you apply the skirting boards in the bedrooms after the carpet or before?
Thank you. Excellent video 🙌
Some great tips in this one, thank Ste 🙏
Big thanks
Great video bro 👏🏽
