  1. From that dusty frame to the final gleam—amazing how every scrape and polish brings it back to life! It’s like designing a space: you start with raw potential, wrestle with the quirks of old wood and rust, then reveal something timeless. That moment when the glass clinks in at the end? Pure satisfaction!

  2. I understand totally what he's talking about. My husband and I remodeled almost all of the houses we've lived in. We'd purchase a home we knew had possibilities, renovate it to what we thought looked good, and then we'd sell it for a profit and move into another house. One of our homes was an 1800s Victorian home., another was an early 1900s farmhouse. The walls were plaster (with horsehair) and lath. What a mess that was. Old newspapers were used for insulation and there was no heat at all upstairs. We lived in the mess each time, but looking back on it now, I realize how rewarding it was. Good job, Chris!!

  3. Fantastic to see. Ambitious young hard working.. you and ur brother done very well, putting middle aged men to shame some of who prefer to sit and look at a pot of paint… Congrats and all the best.. Sharing this video with my 16 year old son, hoping it'll inspire 🎉

  4. I've always wanted to do this and I do plan to in the near future.

One question I have is your comment about not using an architect/and design. (Maybe i misinterpreted)

Seeing the steel work and and roof designs in your renovation, did you had some guidance from a structural engineer at least?
