  1. Tip-NEVER use bleach and vinegar together!! I learned the hard way 😂😅and funny thing is my grandma taught me that but never thought much about it until I could not breathe and eyes were on fire

  2. I need help: I used a product to remove hard water from the shower, that is meant for glass. My mistake was that I applied it without diluting it and it has some little particles that scratched the shower wall and dull the surface / lose luster… is not shine anymore in the area where I applied concentrated. The area where got diluted by the water didn't damage the surface and actually removed the hard water stains. My shower is one of those plastic premade showers. The question is: Do you know any way to restore the shine to that area, or to remove the scratches? I would appreciate your help. Thank you.

  3. My fiberglass shower surround was pretty yellow with soap scum. I tried the Barkeeper's Friend "more" spray this weekend, and wow. I worked like a charm! Used a motorized brush and tackled some of the harder spots with an angled scraper. The surround is almost like new again.

  4. Great advice, definitely works! The only thing I've been finding is whenever I use Dawn dish soap in my shower and tub is that it makes it very, very slippery. I'll try maybe rinsing and then drying with microfiber and see if that helps. What do you think? Also, I have glass shower doors that are perhaps etched from using bleach on them…big no no, right? What can I do, short of replacing them? Anything?
Thanks so much for the help and all the great cleaning tips and tricks…you're a wealth of cleaning info!

  5. We just had our tub refinished. They told us "NO ABRASIVES" no scrubbers, no ajax, no corrosives. They didn't tell us this until AFTER we PAID for the refinish. Now we don't know how to clean it. We have been using the GREEN CLEANER from Lowes. But not sure if that is good enough for a weekly cleaning.

  6. Here you go, I am going to take you to the next level. (Not for stone!). This is only a commercial product not sold in stores. Only sold by Spartan Chemical. Foamy Q&A EPA registered disinfectants shower room cleaner. I have sold this product to commercial accounts for 40 years. When I here, we have tried everything, this is the solution. Also cleans the chrome like it was new with no streaks or spots when rinsed correctly with water.

  7. My old Navy trick to keep the shower clean, once it is clean, is to wipe it down after every use. I use the same towel I just dried myself with to wipe down the walls, door and floor. Keeps the shower inspection ready.

  8. I have made the grubbiest stained tubs, even old porcelain tubs look like new just by using Soft Scrub cleaner and a magic eraser. It doesn't take much cleaner or a lot of scrubbing and even the toughest stains come out. Works great on stainless steel sinks too.

  9. The drill brush and Bar Keeper’s Friend on bumpy shower floors tip is AMAZING. I tried it, and after my kids showered, they all thought I bought a new shower somehow! Thank you!

  10. Now explain how much time is needed to clean up a gunky shower. LOL
I've deep cleaned bathrooms that took me over 12 hours to complete, much of that time spent on bathtub & shower areas. It amazes me how dirty home bathrooms can get.

No complaints… it creates income and fun new challenges for cleaning contractors like us. 🙂

  11. So I have used everything that he has spoken about and it works wonderfully. My grandson had a shower that bless his heart. He had not really cleaned for over five years if you can believe that young boys anyway they were on vacation and we stayed to watch their animals for them and I cleaned and I researched and I use this guy’s tips brand spanking. New looking just beautiful works absolutely wonderful. I do have to say because his buildup in the shower was so heavy. I had to do it a few times, but it’s been over two months now and the shower looks like the day I cleaned it he’s keeping it up wonderfully now, one more thing I would highly recommend if you have natural stone like he said not using the acid, but make sure like every couple of years you scrub that shower really well and then reseal the grout and it’ll keep your shower, looking fresh and clean for a very long time

  12. My tub and shower was so stained, I was planning to have it taken out, but I tried Toilet Ring Remover “TRR” and it truly made it look like new without scrubbing. No lie! A miracle!

  13. Bar Keeper's Friend powder was recommended to me by Corelle to remove the silver streaks that had developed over many years of use on my Corelle dishes. I used it and my Corelle dishes look new again.

  14. My father's tub is looks light tan but it use to be white because there is a flower sticker I took off and under the sticker is bright white. I have tried everything to get the tub back white but nothing works. I tried everything in this video and other videos and it got a little lighter but still a tanish color. I think I might have to get it reglazed which I was trying to avoid.😪

  15. Could someone clarify what's the benefit of using Bar Keepers Friend MORE vs BKF soft cleanser for the shower? I'll likely only get one, but missed if they are recommended for different things/if one is better.
