  1. You can see where it was repaired > BUT ITS A DONE DEAL Next time going to do it a little different. By adding some water down into the crack. where the caulk cement bonds, better! It mixes up with the water, as your pressing it down into the crack. and finish off with the caulk, and scrap off even > What you Don't want is a filled crater, where water can hold in it. You want it filled and flush to the surface

  2. I like the caulk concert crack filler. Just hammer it out, where small pieces are out. clean by blowing strong air and apply, Press it down into the crack, layer it off, and scrap off flush. Its like new

  3. lol OMFG. I have to do this to one massive crack like shown. Then 2 smaller cracks on sidewalk but worse where the sidewalk has pulled away from the house. With like a 2 inch gap. Seeing the effort just to do the cracks kills me. I don’t have an angle grinder and bunch of other tools. Also I’m pretty sure after all my effort the sidewalk by next spring is going to move enough to crack it where I put fill in the gap between the house and sidewalk. What a nightmare. The sidewalk is built with steep side on one side. Over many years erosion has made the sidewalk to slip and move away from the house. It’s in such a hard to get to area for any big construction work like something to lift the sidewalk slabs up and lay down a bunch of new dirt and fill and then put them back in place. Ugh. Man. Wish I had money to pay someone to fix it.

  4. My contractor said that this would work to fix rising concrete where the whole slab is cracked down the middle and leaning down and outward, which is where the water is coming from underneath the ground.

  5. I would spray the cracks out good with a high pressure hose, pour a watery mortar mix down them (with some extra portland cement added), wait a few days, then fill the remainder with polymer-enhanced crack filler.

  6. The caulk shrinks and comes out after a few years. The liquid crack sealer is just as good from quick crate all of the sand settles to the bottom. You have to use a some kind of drill bit to get the sand that settles to the bottom from sitting on the shelves mixed.

  7. Great video! I have 3 cracks across my parking pad. Only the first 5+ inches are a full crack, the rest is just a surface level crack. The cracks all start at the top of the parking pad. For the Sikaflex do you use the Sandstone color along with some sand to help blend the color?

  8. So you just leave it? Your don’t run your finger over it to make it flush with the concrete? Also I have seen you (I think it was you 😂) add sand in the gaps in a different video…what’s that for?
