  1. My oven needed a new oven ignitor.. there was a gas leak..Gas Company suggested that I clean the oven before I call a repair company… my oven has the normal wear and tear. It might need a gentle wiping out and has some burnt in stains but considering it is 11 yrs old -I don’t think this is unusual .. has anybody ever heard of anything like this?

  2. I have a question here, only stainless steel chamber oven may be cleaned this way? Nyin stainless steel chamber ovens (i don't know what material is that) may not be even wipe with water???? Pls help me

  3. Baking soda is an alkaline. Vinegar is and acid. They combine to make inert compounds. Inert compounds will not do anything.
All that fizzing is merely Carbon Dioxide coming off. A neutral gas ding nothing.
Why are American You Tubers so obsessed with vinegar and Baking soda?
I see them recommending it for so many different things. All of them snake oil.
Don't you guys do basic chemistry at school?
Use a good strong alkaline cleaner. It eats the carbon.
After all tat is what a professional uses.
Suggest this to someone cleaning ovens for a living and they will look at you as if you have an IQ problem.
    Doh!

  4. cleaning an oven is a pain in the rear end no matter how you do it or what you use but this method is the least pain in the rear. In fact this method is the most effective with the least amount of work. It is my go to method from now on. 5 stars!!

  5. Easier n better to use just ammonia. Set Any Oven to the warm setting (or lowest temp), turn off oven, place a med. size shallow bowl with ammonia in it, close door. Come back 12 hrs later (prefer over night) n wipe it clean. Wala! N your welcomed 😊

  6. I just found this post, figured I'd try it. I used the same things you did, the same amount of each. My oven was not in the same shape as the one you showed. After 35 minutes of trying to clean the inside my oven, trying to remove the white film that's left, the grease is still there. The white film I guess is here to stay. I have a bad back to begin with, now it's screaming at me…..
    Thanks anyway, I tried. Sorry….
