  1. Take a leak outside in the compost bin!! I love it, but the wife will never believe me. I’ll have to download, tag as favorite, and crop that segment so that when she starts boiling I can get her off the oven before she boils over by whipping my phone out. I’m cropping the last part where you mention your credentials. I think a degree in horticulture from university. Perfect just what I needed. Any guy here knows the second question our her mouth will be “well who the hell is this guy anyway? Problem some troll or snake oil salesman”. Um actually babe he’s a certified horticulturist. That’s what we guy’s call #Winning

  2. Congratulations, you have too much comments that It took very long time to try to find the answer to my question but no result. So for myself to have an idea, how many times ( months or weeks?) in average you have to move the pile of grass upside down to mix to balance new and old leaves which do not have the same decomposition, with the capacity of your enclosure. Thank you.

  3. Your tool handles are snapping because today's wood is weaker than it used to be. It is made from reforested trees. These trees are given more water and more chemicals so they grow faster, but they produce wood of a lower density and higher porosity. 1960's pine lumber had 10-15 rings per inch. Today's has about 7-10. Everything about environmentalism has hidden costs.

  4. I learned this by pure chance. A big pile of leaves naturally ends up blown into the side alley of my house and I just leave them there. Come summer the bottom leaves have become soil.

  5. We fill our Garden beds with Fall leaves at end of summer and cover with a tarp all winter. The soil is very dark and rich looking in Spring when we remove the tarps. And no weeds!!

  6. You can't leaf it alone get your hands dirty and use it 👌💪😅 like clippings from local trees natures goodies that help and keep giving back 🎉

  7. I add coffee grinds to add nitrogen. Also stopped using my green bin so much and put veg and fruit peelings straight into my own compost instead of giving it to the council.

  8. I never understood my neighbors who throw out leaves. Then complain about their grass. I like to just rake up some, and then mow over the rest and my grass is so thick and lovely.
