I am preparing my garage floor to install an epoxy coating with the flake finish but before then I have some repair work to do. I have done a prior video on repairing cracks but this one I wanted to show how to repair a pitted of chipped concrete floor which should help get as smooth of a floor finish as possible before putting down the Epoxy.

15 mins and 250 bucks no thanks
How does this hold under like an acid, or a water base stain?
I’m renovating my finished basement and I’m staining the concrete floor where I once had wall to wall carpet that left divots like this. I tried a premixed filler but it failed. This may be the solution for the remaining floor.
Ty Scott, I have a large crack outside in front of my garage. I have tried to fill it in with concrete but every winter it comes out with snow and ice.
Ty
Believe it or not Bondo works great for this and you don’t need an angle grinder to sand it.
My buddy had a chip in his garage floor from dropping a bfh on it. Anyway he cleaned it then filled it with JB. It dried, he sanded it smooth and that was 20 years ago. 😂
West System epoxy with or without sand works great for this, half that price or less. Plus you can get slow set if you want so you have longer working time
Quickcrete makes a patch that works well and has lasted for years. It also costs a fraction of this.
Wait, is this INSIDE YOUR GARAGE? Or Outside? It's inside… my contractor would do this for waaaay less
My my the whole garage is chipped every where do to salt in the north woods I have to find a better way.
I'm just going to get a tube of self-leveling concrete crack filler.
No doubt a good product. My garage floor problem is a large area depression where water puddles. As deep as 1.5 inches. What's the best way to flatten a large area?
👍👍👍 watching from Lapulapu City, The Philippines.
Love your channel! But I'm not sold on this solution at all.
This guy is totally nuts! Who would spend that much money for a little hole in your garage
Do tile and tile my floor
Life’s too short to be doing all that for a garage floor. Just park your car over it and be done.
My garage in the corner was all chipped plus the rest of the garage had bad spots as well. I called a company and they had the total floor resurfaced and flaked in 6 hours. The diamond blade cutter machine they used 1000 lbs! Sherwin Williams sells that chemical solution kit for the repair. Definitely use a mask. It's been a week and I still smell it a little.
Do you know if this can be used outdoors? I didn't see anything in their data sheets saying whether could be used outdoors, or indoors only. I've got some spalling at the edge of my concrete patio which will probably keep getting worse from freeze/thaw unless I can fill in the pits and low places. Do you know of any alternatives that come in smaller packaging for those of us who aren't contractors and don't need a 100 year supply?
I had this problem about 15 years ago. It started like a small circle and then spread like cancer. A home inspecter said that it was a bad pour. Could have used your tip back then. Thanks, You always provide some good info.
$200 to fill that small divet? Lol. I'll just buy a bag of cement.
VERY clear instructions! Thank you! What the heck causes this? I have had these all over my garage floor since I moved in 5 years ago. Thank you. I figured I’d have to get epoxy finish.
Oops! Spoke too soon!
Does it have to be a ketchup bottle? all I have is mustard 😐
Your Milwaukee gloves are offended by your non-Milwaukee tool
Why do you need to fill it? I would think that when you apply the Epoxy later it will fill that hole as it is fluid like and even auto level itself?
