  1. I'm in Nebraska and have a nice food forest going. Plus several gardens. In about 4 years we're moving to the area north of Phoenix. I love having fruit trees and gardens. I hope i can keep going with it.

  2. I am just worried about tomatoes and bell peppers. Do you have a video for bucket gardens? Does mulching work with buckets? What should I look forward to for the watering/ I usually flood the bucket because I think, "It's just so hot. I am interested in soil PH criteria. Sometimes, I may not get to water my tomatoes one day, and the tomato plants take a beating.

  3. Where do you find Mulch, Also many people here in az say not to mulch because it attracts scorpions? is that correct. I used to live in a very dry hot part of So Cal and i always swore by Mulching, but the locals I have talked to said not to do that?

  4. I garden in the HIGH desert of Southern California. My biggest challenges are: short growing season, and animals (rabbits, squirels, rodents, and some birds). It is one of the most difficult place I have ever gardened. Only Las Vegas was worse.

  5. Hello! I live in Maricopa City. I am a zone 9b. Do you by chance know if the city of Maricopa is considered "low dessert"? I have been trying to research this to no avail. Thanks so much!

  6. I'm in Havasu and have wanted to find a video like this to help me be more aware of the challenges. And I super appreciate you adding in the benefits as well! It gives me hope. I always used to use the zone maps and would get very disheartened because I'd still fail.
