LoL … "Dirt don't hurt!". I love this!!! ❤️😆
Arugula can germinate as low as 50°. It may even germinate even lower temperature
Arugula grows faster than your grass
If you don't want to grow Swiss chard, just grow some more beets because the top of the beat the leaf is your Swiss chard. Swiss chard is actually from Italy. It is named by a Swiss person. It's not originated in Sweden
Yeah tell collards are going to taste much better in the cold weather you can grow them all year
If you've never liked kale and I don't, you should try some homegrown you're missing out. If you buy that at the grocery store, you're still not going to like it
Let your mustard go the seed and make your own mustard. It'll be the best mustard you'll ever have. I've never done it but I want to. I'm going to try it
Damn I was right. That was the first one. He said garlic. I guess I'm getting better as a gardener.
Garlic is probably one of them and onions. I could be wrong about the onions
Yes
That was a very nice watch, thank you! It made me motivated to grab my cellfast tools and do some gardening on my own this winter. Thanks again and good luck.
This man gets on my nerves waving his arms around. That's annoying. Can't talk without moving his arms.
Only organic fruits and vegetables for me!
Very slow and boring
You sound like a robot
Pure gold. Best-
Most people don’t understand seeds need a certain germination rate.
💚💚💚
Plants and stuff right underneath all the snow we have
Great video thank you 😁
28c temp . My indoor garlic as been week sprouted. onion 2 weeks growing good.
I’m glad I found your channel! I’m here in Shallotte and I did not realize there’s so many plants I could be growing!
How do you water in the winter? I'm in New Mexico, no rain, zone 7. It does freeze so I can't keep hoses hooked up in winter…
Hi, I live in central North Carolina. It is now a few days after Christmas. Can I start those veggies from seed? Inside? I have VERY limited space. Like raised garden limited. I have two raised beds. There is too much pine straw for much to go in the ground. Plus bunnies, squirrels, and the occasional deer. What do you think the chances are here in central NC?
Can I still plant these late December? I’m in zone 8b. If so, can I start them in seed pots first then plant? I’m trying to start back after a 2 year break.
I’m in zone 8, garlic and onion are taking off in December.
@13 min into the video, sir, would buying a hedgehog 🦔 help with the slugs and pest control?
You can also sprout garlic indoors easily with a plant heating mat and then transplant outside!
You have leaves on your trees and no snowoack. I'm up near Canada in Zone 4. I need to build a cold frame.
Dirt don’t hurt so put it in your mouth and let it work. 😂
First December days are 24 hours just like June days. Day LIGHT hours are shorter. Second my ground is frozen. You can lay seeds on top but they might blow away. Zone 5B eastern Nebraska
*Looks outside in New Hampshire at the frozen soil I have under row covers.
Wait till you garden in Fla in central gulf coast bugs never take a break.
I am concerned about the CHEMTRAILS that are being sprayed all over Texas and the world for that matter. Do you find that covering with hoop houses it better to keep the chemicals off your veggies ? It is concerning to me ! Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas !
Roasted radishes and radish greens are one of my new loves .
I haven't seen the sun in days. I think we got sun twice in the past 2 weeks. But soon we will be moving back south east. Yay!!!
DISCLAIMER
ONLY IF YOU LIVE IN THE COASTAL STATES OF THE USA STATES
LOL
THE ONLY THING YOU CAN GROW IN WINTER HERE ARE: POLAR BEARS AND ESKIMOS
Update-Right now it is 9.9 degrees here in Boston with six inches of snow on the ground. The collards are unprotected and so far they look okay. It is crazy how cold tolerant they are. They are literally standing up straight supporting the weight of the snow in the shade at 8am!
Great suggestions & tips, have made notes lol so jealous of your garden it’s awesome, I want the hoop houses
Thank you so much for sharing this, I appreciate you ! Much respect!!
So many good information! From temperature ranges of each crop to what types are best and do well, I live close to you so to me this is all so helpful thank you! I will use your Amazon links for that whenever I remember 😉
Zone 8b. All my dill died after only one night with temperature dropping down to 0*C.😢
December in Chicago is def not a good time to plant
I’m in central Austin and the insect here eat everything I grow!😂
I covered my tomatoes with tarps and dug up some volunteer Husk Cherries and brought them inside under lights to have fruit the rest of the winter.
😞I need advice on how to water in thee winter. I planted what was suggested but I somehow don’t know what to do with watering… I am in zone 8A/B also. The seedlings came out but I have not been watering much because I worried that the soil will freeze.
Your going to love all the growing going on here in central FL
I'm in Vanceboro, NC…exactly the info I was looking for! Ty!
