  1. Berries that touch soil die off and are usually small they're decoys for bugs then the big ones grow under leaves so birds can't see them and usually on leaves thst have died from the year previously or what most people do …on your LANDSCAPE MATERIAL…which is what your supposed to do and use…

  3. there are no studies that prove that clipping the flowers off of a strawberry plant cause the plant to produce any more/larger fruits the subsequent year after transplant. this is only useful for an everbearing plant during the first month or two after you begin rooting it into the ground.

  4. Planted a hundred plants last spring. We didn't pull the berries, enjoyed them as they reopened. This year each plant has no less than a dozen berries, some twice that… So take advice with a grain of salt.

  5. 🙁 I got strawberries growing in a pot bought from Home Depot

    It was fine and they turned a beautiful red, but today I found all 4 berries to be browned and squishy and even one covered completely in gray mold. Maybe I over watered by I tried avoiding that..

    My strawbrrries don't have mulch as of right now, whats the best mulch to use for strawberries?

  6. My Aunti had a pick ur own Strawberry Farm, on 1 acre near pottageville, ont.
    She had several variety's, it was Heaven! We didnt know how goood we had it, Thankfully nobody in the family was allergic. I miss my Aunti & those strawberries!
