I can’t believe it’s been a week since the last video. It seems like only yesterday.
However, since the last video we have had alot of rain here in the NE of England and the weeds are loving it. Time to do a bit weeding and all that kinda ting..
I also sow some carrots direct into the ground and show you the technique I use to sow Parsnips.
I also sow some turnip seeds to go under my latest Temiu purchase, which I thimk is probably the best thimg I have bought so far from Temu.
All in all it was a productive day on the plot and I hope you enjoy the latest episode of Dave’s Allotment Garden and Ting.

  1. Comfry seeds die in water if left in there for the time it takes to make comfry concentrate. Over that period of time the seeds effectively drown and become non viable. A comfry seedling will also not look that established like the plant in the pea patch…. in the short time since you sowed those peas a young comfry germination woukd not be that established..

  3. European robins do have an "average" life expectancy of around 2 years, though some can live up to 19 years. I have a distinct "fluffy" robin with unkempt feathers that has been returning to my garden for onto 3 years now.

Shop bought potatoes do work but they have to be old one's and chitted, i have done it for year's , you save the ones that start shooting at the end of the bag, and use them, if they are new then they wont,, wait for them to wrinkle slightly.. and on the parsnip you said take the best one out,, i think you meant leave the best one in,…
