Thank you to Leesa for sponsoring this video!
Hey friends! Today we are finally tackling my extreme bedroom makeover! This week, I dove straight into demo – walls, windows, flooring, EVERYTHING is going! At the same time, I will also be setting up a cute temp bedroom that I will be sleeping in for the next few weeks (or months), AND I’ll also be cutting into stone to make space for a bigger window and a door so that I can have my dream private walkout straight from my new bedroom. Are you excited? Because I’m excited! Can’t wait to start this project with you guys! Hope you’re ready for the ride…because it’s going to be a long one.

One "licensed electrician" later 😂😂😂
I hope you guys know how strange it is for us from other countries to watch renovations of Canadian and US homes and see how much dry wall and wood is used in your homes. We use brick and motar so this is bind bending!
So glad you guys hired a certified electrician 😂
I love seeing Becky and Austin together!
Buy a straight iron that has automatic shut off.
Funny thing about the door, almost every house in Texas has a door in the primary bedroom leading to the backyard. So it’s totally normal. And it’s easier to get out a door than a window in case of a fire!
I have been following this whole journey so avidly! I LOVE your creative tastes, and I respect you so much for your determination to use thrifted items. This house is getting a GLOW UP, and you are working so hard! LOVE it.
🤍
6:08 where is the bedframe from?
I’m obsessed with Danny
You're a very pretty Lady…. Those high cheekbones 👌🏻🔥
You will still be as good looking well into your older years. Pure admiration 😅
And I say that as a biological hetero woman
Super talented as well, of course. You have great ideas !
Your enthusiasm always makes me as happy as does Danny’s calm’ knowing’ about it. Love the redueax
Is Rachel still on the chanel?
My name is Ruth. Why does it say Ruth on the floor in white? 😅😅😅😅
Yay! So excited for this renovation. Love Austin's humor, and how well you guys work together as a couple.
Upload d nxt video now …..
When you sat down in front of the window while explaining the patio door idea, all I could picture was the iconic Bernie Sanders meme. 🤣🤣
Herringbone pattern in wood on the wall
The outlets that are attached to a switch in my house are upside down so you know which ones you can add a lamp to. It’s an idea for your home.😊
Oh you KNOW we’ve been patiently waiting for the bedroom reno
omg Becky WHO BUILT YOUR HOUSE?!? seems like they are lucky to be alive and are perhaps the most type B person in existence.
i love where this is going. My only thought is to create a MCM open book shelf room divider for the wall where the pipe juts out by the windows
Nice job! Is there a way to make the fireplace a feature in the door side of the room? Seems to tilt the balance in the old location.
Is it stained glass windows?
"I'm picturing doors"
Stained glass doors?
I really love both the window and door! I'm still thinking stained glass but it's your space lol
Suggestion, since you asked. You should build a wall into your bedroom… so basically a wall that would have your door to the room and door to closet.…further into the room… put a wall there (with doors)and that way you can extend the closet. So that one set of drawers that are at your entrance way arnt floating in the ether. Squares off the room more and also extends the closet. Hopefully how I’m explaining it makes sense. Yes technically might feel like you are cutting into the square footage but the room is massive and you are just getting rid of that alcove which is a dead zone passage way anyway. And getting bigger walk in closet!
