Looks better but use a good Dahl shutoff valve. That new one is garbage. Second, buy a supply line with a metal connector to the toilet. Cost less than a dollar. Good work, very poor materials used. You keep plumbers employed!

To me metal escutcheons will always be miles better than plastic splits. The plastic just scratches and gets destroyed too easy
