Your garlic is definitely not ready yet. While they look healthy, you need to wait until the bulbs split into cloves, at least a few more weeks
Had none over the dry spring. Even now hardly any slugs. Totally different to last year.
I always used to prune suckers off indeterminate tomatoes and then I accidentally left one indeterminate tomato to grow on a wire trellis and from one plant I’ve harvested many kilo’s of Roma type tomatoes perfect for sauce making. Try one and experiment because it allowed more airflow and therefore less disease and more flowers to pollinate ❤
Sorry but using iron chelate pellets is the best and easiest way
Your slugs will emerge slowly after long awaited rainfall. They will be "sluggish" 😅….they have probably been deeper in the soil these few weeks, seeking out moisture .Best catching them at dusk and nightfall.Try using beer in traps or use marmite or powder yeast dissolved in warm water.
It looks fantastic well done you 🎉
What big potatoes Xx
It's beautiful Emma Xx
What do you think soil is made from, composted material
You have every right to be proud of your plots. You have worked so hard, and last year was hard in itself with the weather, slugs, and snails. I'm so excited for you.
My husband grows his best potatoes by throwing them in the compost pile. Me I have to plant in-ground, raised beds and pots 😅.
You cut back a Hazel tree, Bunny G uses hers as a crop tree instead of buying bamboo as plant supports
Where are the slugs n snails. My own garden does not seem to be housing many slugs n snails. Was worried about their disappearance, even though I'm glad, but normally waring against them at this time of year.
Thankyou❤
You are going to have such a fab potato harvest this year! Growing in your compost has got to be the lowest maintenance way of doing it, (I always forget to feed my bags/ pots of Tatties) Just wait until the leaves start dying back and then happy harvesting 🥔 😃.
My grandad used to say something about airflow and Tommy plants in greenhouses, you need good ventilation and access for the pollinators and I’m sure he used to remove the lower leaves of the plants. I only grow a few 🍅 plants outside but last year I stripped the lower leaves when they really got growing, ( to direct energy to the flowers/ fruits) and took out some higher leaves later in the season to allow light to get to the tomatoes under them.
Well done Emma on all your hard work, you are so right to be feeling proud 😊 and great that you get to work with companies such as muck boots these days too, really happy for you 💚😘
You need to pull the new shoots coming out between branch and stem, and if you want more tomatoes just pop the off shots into compost they just grow roots and away you go
Look at midnight
You should be proud of yourself! The plot looks amazing ❤
Emma I have loved watching you from the day you would do videos in your garden to getting your first plot then second you've done amazing xx
they are fine to eat
Love watching your videos. Can you tell me where you acquired you weeding tool? Did it come with your plot or did you purchase it somewhere? I really like the size of it. And yes you should be proud of yourself!
Yes, that is white rot,I’ve pulled all mine up, cleaned off the white rot and split the cloves and have frozen them all, if you leave them , they may rot completely
Your plots are looking amazing! Well done Emma! 🤩
Appreciate the detailed breakdown! Could you help me with something unrelated: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (wonder obey dial dash soon tank spike scout region undo zero such). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
You can eat the potatoes from the compost. Treat them like a potato grown in dirt. Wash well before using.
Emma honestly your videos bring me so much joy ! 😂
"If you planted your garlic in the autumn, there not ready yet" 😅
Your allotment looks beautiful! You have done and amazing job
👏 ❤
again Emma… I think these are the seed potatoes, which are starting to grow now, very vigorous because of your good compost. And later they will produce very many new potatoes for you.
You are so funny. The potatoes are the old seed potatoes. There is enough to learn. But you have fun and a beautiful garden and Einstein is a good friend.❤
We are proud of you too ❤
👌👌👌
Emma your like a London Farmer look at all the produce Your growing, looks so good!
Hi Emma, in the closing shots, over your right shoulder, there is a plant with big leaves. What is this called?
