Just use Windex (PH of 10) and brush it off ( use a spinning electric brush for grouts to have a little bit more help) super easy, you'll see you have way faster results. Borax or Baking soda is PH 8. Then wipe it off with a microfiber cloth

We cant buy borax in the uk it is such a drag.
Just use CLR. It'll fade the grout for you and less work involved
I've never worked with Borax. Is it poisonous? I have a Cockatiel.
And I cannot use anything that has chemical smell, etc.
So far, your grout cleaning idea is the best that I have seen on YT

Just a thought. If you use the foam that is used in installing the grout to apply the cleaner it might take less time

Borax is banned in Europe because of its carcinogenic properties.
I would suggest using a plastic syringe to apply it to the floor.
