  1. Really good video. Everybody please wear a mask when working with anything dusty. Concrete dust will straight up give some people cancer, so rather than spend the end of your life in the car on hospital trips, wear a mask.

  2. To those out there that watched this and think they can do it now. There are some things that you need to know.

Not a lot of products out there in self leveling and floor patch compounds that are compatible with OSB. And then self leveling compounds usually use like spiked roller to help the compound level out.

Also it is not just pour and level easy peasy as made to look if here as she did here in a square space. If you have to patch a section then you it will be more difficult to match height.

A small area may be doable for a DIY'er. Larger area with no experience. Good luck. And to have to have get all the buckets and such is another hassle. Also it is recommned to use clean buckets and mixer for each batch to avoid clumps.

So if you have no experience with products like this, then I would not recommend attacking a large area. Would be expensive and headache mess up.

Also this is "leveling" compound. It will seek out level. Floors need to be flat and not necessarily level. Flat and level are not the same. If you are just looking to flatten out your floors and there is a slope, then do not use self leveling compound because it will run downhill. For a situation like that, you would need like a patching or feathering compound.

  3. I need to hire you for my channel because your explanations are excellent! You took 90% of the correct steps in the levelling process compared to many "specialists" who demonstrated how to approach levelling. Congratulation!!!

  4. I like to put my mixer in the water and add powder gradually while mixing. If you’re on your own add 75% of the powder, mix well, then add the remaining 25%. Saves time between pours which makes it easier to get a perfect finish.

  5. Your video helped me get this done. My first attempt was not perfect, but it was close enough and I'm hoping that I can fix a few high-spot-drops (drips that landed on a fill-in of a hole that sealed up), and also fill-in the one or two leaks that sealed up but left little 2"x3" low spots.
