I am in southest part of Sweden. To humidfy just have a aquarium in the room. I do carry a lot when it comes to tropical plants. Take plants out in the late spring to the garden and inside again in the autumn before the frost comes. I do have some extra lights in the winter indoors but try to keep most of my stuff in the windows ( and close to the windows) then to use as much natural lights as possible. When it comes to buy plants it is very expensve to get plants from outside the EU. Except for all the import fees there is a strict regulation over plant health. We dont want to import new plant deseaces thus you cannot buy plants from anyone, must be tested and approved.
She got Jesus written all over her ❤️❤️
Plants enthusiasts, loved it👌
I love your content, thank you for sharing this interesting information about plants.
I've tried to get some plant from Indonesia. I looked at peach but it was asking for business name ?? I'm not a business how does this work lol help
WooHoo, a UK girl, can't wait to watch.Love to London from Edinburgh 🌺
Dr Jimmy amazing video. You look so young.
Assalamualaikum i m from Indonesian.
Thank you for this!! So much great information and explained really clearly.
That Frydek is goals. I did not know they can get that big!
How do you care for your Alocasia Frydek? Yours is simply gorgeous.
@LegendsofMonstera I was wondering if you could help me with my Monstera propagation issue.
I have had my cutting in water for 5 weeks now. It has been growing well. I don't however think it is ready yet to transition onto soil. A few days ago I started putting seaweed solution in and the roots started going black and mushy.
What do I do? Do I go perlite? Is the issue just with seaweed?
Do I cut the black roots off and air it out over night and put it back in water?
Ordering outside of EU when you live in EU is something I've 100% stopped doing. There's >20% flat tax which INCLUDES shipping fees, and often other fees added on, some for express shipping, some for other reasons. Not uncommon to end up paying almost the entire value of a parcel twice because you're hit with fees and then some more fees. It's gotta be an exceptional plant that I definitely cannot get locally for me to be able to justify it, and so far I haven't found one worth the fees.

Awesome lady
Can anyone put a link to her YouTube?
This was great! I'm from the UK and thought she represented our houseplant culture really well. Off to check out her channel now!
I must be the odd one out in London. No humidifier to be found in my house.
But great video. Now off to find her on Instagram. I am http://www.Instagram.com/TheHousePlantDoc
Haha this was so cute and as another aroider in London, I can definitely relate to four seasons in one day. I had my aroids in my outdoor greenhouse this summer during the heat wave and it got to 41 degrees that day!!! I was so scared they were going to melt, haha. Growlights are definitely a must in the coming months!
And regarding shipping from Europe, I actually had orders from Europe arrive as fast as 2 days during COVID, and maybe as long as a week, (depends on the country it comes from), but I can definitely understand the higher prices compared to taking the risk on importing from Asia.
Wonderful episode! Love more international planty people.
😘❤
Love these around the world interviews. Keep up the good work. Will definitely subscribe to Niche
I live in Manchester UK and I'm growing tropicals both indoors and out. I have Musa Chini Champa, Alocasia Macrorrhiza, phoenix palm alocasia which are outdoors and indoors piper Nigrum, Piper Betel, monstera abandoning, Calathea, coffee arabica, pomegranate, citrus medica. Its possible to grow these even on a budget. You don't need to spend alot of money and buy expensive lighting, etc
