This was really helpful thank you
None of these techniques looks like it would be weight bearing.
awesome stuff. Wish I knew this earlier.
Good job! Very helpful!!
Why not just use a zip toggle? No mess and adds a threaded insert in about 2 seconds.
Thank you! Real science.
Would this work for helping to reinforce Hanging Plant Swag Hooks in Ceilings?
One of the best DIY videos I've ever watched, so clear & to the point, thanks
This is all unnecessary work and annoying. All you need to do is purchase the screw in type drywall anchor which is generally wider in circumference and just upgrade to a larger screw size often can use the same screw though.
Nice nice! was wondering how loctite construction adhesive (polyurethane) and super glue would work as well! Thanks always for such a informative experiment!!
Bigger anchor..
The best fix is to replace with a better anchor.
We used a toggle bolt to fix it and it worked perfectly !
Wet and fix is just plaster bandage costing much more than needed to
Drill and use toggles.
No wonder I drill a hole to the wall too big. That’s why the screw anchor keeps spinning and not tightening it up.
I noticed a difference of how he drilled the screws in. Was very gentle with the first. Then full throttle with 2-4.
👏👏👏
Switch to a Toggle Bolt. Done
Those wet n fix pads are just plaster bandage. I bet you can find a lot more for cheaper
THANK YOU 😭😭
Excellent video I just ordered that stuff! Really appreciate it. I just subscribed to your channel.
Will wet and fix work for a wall mount of 65-inch tv? We have unfortunately made holes too big even though we used the right bit for drilling. We are scared the TV will fall or something.
This was the best video and visual explanation! Thank you
Thank you!
I think you’d do way better by drilling out the hole bigger and using a bullfix or similar
Those methods look good, my preference is toggle bolts! It is fast clean and strong!
Your test and diy skills are both 💩
great video and very thorough too bad the methods that were most effective are less likely to have around the house but appreciate the efforts that went into this test. I thought about another product that might be affective would be some good old Bondo
Thanks brother. The Wet-N-Fix worked as demonstrated, and the curtain rod is now holding nicely.
