  2. My leftover balcony dirt bag potatoes are chitting right now. After attempts to forcibly chit them (remain in soil, put in sun, put in water under grow lamp) I just gave up and put them inside in a paper bag on a shelf. Presto! I'm bucketing them in the window to get the greens started. I do have a grow lamp for later and can spread them out and deepen. Cramped for space right now. Still working to make my tank more upright. Need to sew.
