  1. I learned last week that if you twist those drain cleaners as you insert and remove them, they work exponentially better. I put it in and out of a clogged shower drain about 5 times and got not much. Then I tried twisting it as I pulled it up and it pulled up a disgusting amount of hair. Like half the length of the thing and 5/8” thick of hair and slime.

  2. Today Is the day for my furnace. I just got a heat pump Installed. The guy told me that the fresh air intake should come from the outside. Right now Its done the easy way. The fresh air intake just comes from the basement. How to you guys say It from way south of us? I think Its “well hot dam” I bought all the right pipe and fittings and glue and hooking It up to the fresh air outside, well hot dam.

  3. Excellent tips. I’m adding some of these to my spring/fall house checklists for my customers. At my house I have to do a breakdown & cleaning of our vacuum cleaner——wife & daughter have lots of hair and there’s a toddler leaving crumbs everywhere.
