  1. Lovely harvest Sharon, only thing Ive harvested is cucumbers and a cabbage, My beetroot isn't ready yet but when I prepare I will clean and sterilise jars and put in oven, once warmed let them cool, boil beets let them go cold then peel skin off slice and I add malt vinegar into the jars that's all I do, take care Steve

  2. I'm glad you explained what to do with pickling the beetroot, I'll give that a go if I get any to harvest. Your harvest looks really good, I always find that I must have left a tiny spud or 3 in because they pop up the following year 😂 All your flowers are beautiful, love the colourful marigolds! 😍 Great update thankyou Sharon.

  3. I absolutely love pickled beets and have them as a side to most dinners. When I was younger now don’t judge me 😂😂 I loved canned corned beef with pickled beets in rye bread. My sis in law does an amazing roasted beets in garlic and olive oil. Great job on the water butt. No rain here yet again 😢, Ali 🇨🇦
