My Mother and step father spent many years and an awful lot of money renovating an old Victorian walled garden that was attached to their house. They created a beautiful place that was enjoyed not just by them but the community too.
My step father's health was failing a little so they decided to down size and move.
My mother couldn't bring herself to dig up any of the many plants she loved to take to the new house as she didn't want to spoil the garden.
The new owners of the property bulldozed the garden and built a house on it.

you are right to take with you your special plants and anything as I can attest to leaving gardening we wish they would have let us know that were going to just dig up or destroy

I’ve been a follower for quite a long time but I am still surprised that it has been over four years ago that you moved into your current property. Time has flown! I pray your current property sells quickly and you can get moved before the holidays. Are you moving away from the Isle of Man?

Life is a Journey, Not a destination to arrive at.
So, not gardening while you were waiting for the "perfect" place, would have been doing you a disservice.
Because of The style of your channel, I don't think starting over WRT having a new garden, will have a negative affect.

You have done amazingly well with your property and garden over the last 4+ years, it is an absolute credit to you both. I hope it sells nice and quickly …and smoothly … and that all goes well with purchasing your 'forever home'. All the very best. xx

Hi Tanya, I have been subscribed for many years, the house you are selling now is the 3rd property you’ve been in since I have been following, so your new home will be the 4th! 😊😊😊. I still remember how much fun the video was when you were planning the garden for your previous house, #2, and you were picking out fruit trees etc. so, I think it will be fun to see you plan #4.
