On a completely separate subject I'm trying to get my hands on some nice streptocarpus . I was told by one Dublin house plant assistant that apparently the world stock of streptocarpus has become contaminated with a virus so the relatively recent lines are no longer available while the breeders start over with virus free varieities . Any suggestions as to where I might be able to get my hands on some ? I'd happily buy some leaves of some of yours in the spring when the growing season starts again . I have 7 varieities myself . Happy to swap also . Mike

No whites? I have a thing about adding whites because they offset the richer colors without detracting or clashing with them. Just personal preference when working with purple or red or orange.

I followed your advice (and generous discount code) last year and ordered loads of bulbs from Bulbi. Unfortunately, they were the worse bulbs out of all the other online stores I'd gotten bulbs from. Their plastic packaging is bad and in every package I'd have 2 or 3 rotten bulbs. Their size was nothing to write home about, either. I'm never ordering from them again. Farmer Gracy or TulipStore have much better quality bulbs in my experience. Maybe they send better bulbs to influencers? Anyway, I look forward to your tulip display this spring. I'm sure they will look amazing.

What do you do with the tulip bulbs when they have finished flowering? Do you plant them again, or discard them?
