This is not a hack. Using a product (bleach) for its intended and universally known purpose (bleaching) is the furthest thing from a hack there is.

Whites should only be washed in cold water hot water makes your whites, dingy, I like using a cup of vinegar a little soap and a cap of bleach soak overnight and proceed to a regular wash load; for extremely dirty socks treat with oxy clean stain remover rub it in let them marinate for a couple of hours before washing again with laundry detergent vinegar a cap full of bleach in cold water. I find that hot water tends to settle stains. All of my whites are super white. 😊
