I’m sorry. These are NOT good ideas at all. These products are full of toxic chemicals !! and should NOT be rubbed onto furniture. Pets can be exposed…cats lick their fur and paws. They can get really sick from laying on furniture inhaling these chemicals & fragrances which can cause them respiratory distress. Please please do NOT do this. Dryer sheets are full of chemicals and can pollute indoor air quality! I suffered nerve damage and my cat had seizures from these exposures.

Dryer sheets are so toxic. I wouldn't even be able to walk in ypur house without going into anaphylaxis.
Don’t do 2 and 3 bc they will damage your couch or carpet and if you do 2 it can give a chemical and bad smell
The softener will build up a layer over time on your fabric and vacuuming up powder can damage a lot of vacuums.
I keep my house aired out at much as possible year round. Windows and doors open. Keeps everything super fresh.
Don't do the softener thing if you have pets.
