This is a video/information that every person who cleans their house NEEDS to watch/learn-know. It could/should change their mindset. This is the 2nd time I've seen it…& I think I should watch it every morning as I drink my coffee since it would keep me focused on How to clean my house! Straighten.*THEN* clean. Thank you for your Words of Wisdom!
This is how i would clean the house as a teenager when my mom would ask me to 😭 that, or i would throw everyones clothes on their beds which annoyed everyone 😭
My mom worked 35 years as a hospital cleaner, whenever she was assigned to offices she did exactly what you said, whatever stuff was over desks she just piled them up to be able to clean the surfaces, the only papers who were thrown out by her were the ones in the trash cans, even papers on the floor would have been put over desks in case they were important. The cleaning she did for the rest of the other hospital areas was totally different because she did have to extensively clean and disinfect patients rooms before they were occupied and obviously labs and other spaces like the nurseries needed specialized methods, but offices were cleaned exactly as you pointed out. I was always amazed at how fast my mom cleaned our house but when I was an adult I realized that it was fast because I was the one tidying up while she was the one actually cleaning. Points for team effort, I guess lmao.
That's absolutely right! I realized a couple of years ago that organizing takes more time than cleaning. So, I clean before and organize later, what gets faster because I did like you on the video.
And depending on the cleaner/ company, there isn’t someone timing the cleaning process. I have cleaned for a small business and then a bigger company. I hated working for the big company
As a former house cleaner there's also the are the most two important parts that separate us from the non professional. Number one is that we're paid by time spent cleaning, so we don't let anything distract us from the main job at someone's home, and number two is the skills to do it faster. When I started cleaning houses for money I took 3x the amount of time I take it today 😂. Now in my own home cleaning takes forever cuz I just have a nice time while doing it and don't bother to do anything fast
I totally understand. I can pack for someone else moving super fast but if i try to do my own.. Forget about it, we're emotionally tied to certain items like kids art, bills, gifts etc ugh
Yea she’s stacking not cleaning. I’ve had a cleaning business way before it was trending 😂
As a house cleaner, this was a really good visual to use to teach people

Best explanation ever!!

But some people leave so much clutter out that it slows the cleaning down by at least an hour
One gets pay!!! Wanna be a housewife??
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Perfectly said 👏
THANK YOU 🙏🙏❤❤

Cleaning and tidying are two separate chores
Perfect sense
Please I’m moving and I need your advice I started last Monday and I’m still in kitchen
Yes
If I ever get a house cleaner I make sure I tidy up a bit the day/evening before …
I always tidy for my house cleaner. It takes half as long to clean if there’s nothing to tidy.
It annoys me that people won't put things up. The pile just gets higher and higher.
Why don't you ask where to put these people's belongings it still looked unkempt 😢
Yes this
Plus if we have children and other distractions it takes longer too.
Makes a lot of sense! Thank you!
What you are saying is decluttering
Not organizing
And am a professional cleaner from India and the best cleaner in the world ever
Thank you this is actually really helpful
My friend said they would put loose things in a box in each room!
Then there’s my parents when I was growing up. We actually would clean before our cleaning lady came so the clutter wouldn’t have been there!
Bravo
❤
When I used to clean, my clients always tidied for me, it was a given.
And depending on the cleaner/ company, there isn’t someone timing the cleaning process. I have cleaned for a small business and then a bigger company. I hated working for the big company
Yes it makes sense
Such a good point! Thanks for the tips!
The home should be Decluttered by the homeowner before the housekeeper arrives
Mystery solved!!!! Whew, i feel so relieved, lol 😅
Makes sense! Thanks!
That's so true. Takes me all day to clean our bathroom 😂
So very true. Thank you.
Very interesting
