I’ve been hearing about Swedish Death Cleaning everywhere. I felt like the universe was pushing me to learn more about this decluttering method. I first heard of it when @DoItOnaDime shared her video about it and then just kept hearing Swedish Death Cleaning mentioned all around and decided it was time to try. I bought the book The Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning: How to Free Yourself and Your Family From a Lifetime of Clutter, and dove in….and I LOVED IT. I can’t wait to share more with out guys about this amazing decluttering system.

  1. Dude my mom and Aunt have both increased the amount of furniture and unnecessary 💩just in the last 2 weeks. I brought up the fact that if they still have all the stuff (and possibly more) whenever it is that they "kick off" that I am going to be the one that has to deal with all of it… My mom said "And?". I was like😐😐😐😐😑😒🖕

  2. Hola hello beautiful world God Almighty bless all 💖 Thank you for Sharing! I want to share a little bit of what helps me not clutter and not clutter for others 1 when it birthdays or etc I say please don't give gifts!! In this country we are overwhelmed with Material things I ask please bring food , I believe we really feel we just have to give sooo many things!!! Things are just things,we should try to Give our love , Time, Energy, stories, jokes and food God Almighty bless all 💖💮💖🌈💖💮🌈

  3. Thanks for this . . . I'm getting my strength up to start a big purge of things and stuff. I've seen videos before on this topic however the idea of making it easier for others when I pass really gives me some motivation.

  4. My brother and his wife knew they only wanted two kids. First was a son, and my sister-in-law packed his clothes in boxes with the age/size of those clothes. Then they had a girl, so some of those clothes she did get. But then my sister-in-law gifted my nephews clothes. And she gifted the girl’s clothes year by year. Just done and appreciated by others.

  5. Wow. My mom and I have decluttered our apartments regularly thinking of death while doing so. I never knew that this "method" actually had a name and was an existing concept. I thought we were just pessimist weirdos or something 😅

  6. I haven’t read through the comments, but it’s likely someone may have touched on this? The bag with your child’s name on it should probably get tossed. It’s not a good idea for your child to have his name on his person, as there are many weirdos out there that may take advantage of that to lure him. It’s a sad reality, but I thought it was worth mentioning. Thank you for your channel. I’m enjoying it very much! 💖

  7. I just started donating “dust collectors “…stuff that belonged to grandma that was never used like China, martini set, vases etc. I understand the guilt parting. I reside with my 90yo mom and we/she is still holding onto his Boy Scout uniform, t shirts , police uniform and he’s been gone for 32 years. Remember the good times attached with the item. Don’t feel bad about letting go.
