  1. It’s unfortunate that some people feel the need to complain, especially when the property in question is relatively secluded and the extension would barely, if at all, be visible to anyone. You are surrounded by people with large, beautiful homes, yet your expectation to have the same is something they feel compelled to challenge. It feels like some folks just can’t help but rain on others’ parades.

  2. Genuine question, not a comment on the way you're doing things… is it better to have lots of little bits of rebar overlapping in the wall, or why didn't you have one long bit down, lifting the bricks over them?

  3. Watching you guys do all that hard work, if there’s one thing that I could recommend is, don’t be a hero when lifting trees, 9 inch hollows or even shovelling stone because you only get one back !

  4. hope you get to feeling better! Also, is there any possibility of getting a recipe for 11:45? whatever that was looks perfect for a cold day = ) progress is amazing as always, I can't wait to see the finished product and to see the next adventure!

  5. Hi guys can just ask you what are you going to do about the rain. Water that runs down the lane to stop it running down on to your Property You might need some kind of Draining away from Your home , you are do a fantastic job in a Short time

  6. Loving the weekly vlogs, you guys are so inspiring and clearly working very hard.
The quality of your videos have gone up so much too, it’s feels like you are really enjoying capturing the renovation and sharing it!!

  7. Hahaha the stump grinder start 😅 just given mine back after a weeks worth of work…12 ish stumps gone and I’m in bits…they are HEAVY machines 😅

  9. £200 to remove a tree stump! Wow! I need to move down South. It cost us £400 to get one pulled up in Sheffield last year. They dug around it put a winch round it and pulled it with a truck. Chipped it up and left in an hour.

  10. Love your videos! But I’m worried about Harry – does he ever get to stand up straight? He’s always bending over in the videos – must kill his back!😂 You guys work sooo hard! Keep it up!

  11. Just watched you latest program with the installation of the Rio link security camera. As you are doing a full renovation thinking installation of POE to run cameras along with a MESH WiFi

  12. Hi guys, loving your content and it’s become routine for my partner and I to sit down on Sunday and watch your new vids. We just wanted to know how you’re able to fund working on it full time, mortgage and works you’re doing to it and living month to month. I know it’s a bit personal but I’m looking to get into property developing myself (I’m a bricklayer)and can’t work out how you’re able to afford it. All the best, keep up the great work

  13. I had 4 stumps to do in our drive way and had crazy quotes. Had to get a digger anyway for when I resurfaced it. If you carefully dig around them, you can use an axe to cut through the main side roots then use the digger to carefully loosen them out (I had a 2.5T one that worked well, wouldn't attempt in a micro). The benefit of pulling the whole thing out is you don't have to worry about what the grinder can't get slowly rotting and creating a sink in your drive way

  14. You can drill holes into the tree stump and build a mini fire onto it. I’ve added bbq coals also to help the long burn and it did a good job getting much lower than ground level. It helps to dig a hole on the side of it for air flow also. Good luck on the rest of the build! I’m catching up whilst sunbathing on a beach in Cape Verde on a winter holiday 😂

  15. Put vapor rub on the bottom of your feet then socks before you sleep. Sounds weird but it works. I did this for my kids and they still call to be reminded of what I used to help them feel better. 🥰
