Glass used to be a nightmare cleaning at times but after starting to use a synthetic chamois this way is a total game changer, such a great tip at cleaning glass💯
Been doing this sense 1996. All use diapers. We didn't have microfiber towels.
How do keep the water from going down in to the dashboard? 😊
Just tried it. Pleased with result.
I don't believe that just water and a synthetic chamois will get the hazy vinyl hazy scum off a windscreen without at least some soap for the initial wipe but I'll certainly give it a go in the name of science.
So how do you get the inside of the windscreen to actually be clean. Ive cleaned mine with glass cleaner, then buffed it like crazy by hand with a clean towel, Ive then repeated 2 more times and it looked perfect. I set off driving and the sun hits the window at a certain angle and I can see smears marks that were not there after I cleaned it. Im going to try clay baring the inside of the windscreen. I've tried all the window cleaners and you think its clean, it looks clean, then the sun says its not clean.
Tried this today. One of the best tip videos on YT. Thank you for sharing. That’s changed the game! Why does anyone use glass cleaner? Is it just marketing?😊
Great video but how do you decontaminate your windscreen of all the products used on it before I can use the synthetic leather system ? Thanks in advance.
I greatly enjoyed your video, never thought it would be that simple
What kind of cleaners are you using? I spray, wipe, instantly clean and streak free glass, always. It has never failed me unless there's legitimately stuck on dirty from a very dirty window, but that's a different matter. But a car windshield or side window? Spray, wipe, done. Every time. Maybe you guys use a different kind of glass cleaner across the pond or something, but that is literally never an issue for me.
Hiya mate great video I've just brought an ava easy p50 pw based on your recommendations. What would be your basis go to products that you would recommend for a weekend worries. Like myself 😂
The and of the day no hands
windolene and newpaper
i think it's easy but i have done it for many years.
Newspaper and spray a little water.works fantastic. ❤uk
Hands down, the best method. Thank you!
Just use old newspaper for the final finish. Clean your windows with any method you like, but for the final swipe, stick to plain, old newspaper (no glossy paper). Unfold the newspaper and loosely crumple it into a ball that is large enough, and you can still can hold it comfortably in your hand. Apply just a very small amount of clean water (only if the windows are already to dry) along with this type of paper, swipe your windows with it, and you’ll achieve perfect streak‐free glass. 👍
Hi, I just need some advice, I have some unknown sticky substance I’m not sure what it is, it’s like brown grit from winter and it’s stuck on my glass and I have tried fast glass but it hasn’t worked. Any ideas?
I found real leather cloths but not synthetic on Amazon. Will those work the same?
Where can I buy one of these cloths? Amazon does not have them
Hi there nice video. Btw what kind of towel is that? Is microfiber cloth ok?
Will synthetic leather underwear be suitable?
Is it ok to use real leather chamois ?
Just tried this and it’s the first time ever I’ve had crystal clear glass; thank you for the excellent tip!
Ok got the chamois…..thanks
does this work in 2025 or is it patched?
Great Video this method works 100% Do you have any methods for perfectly clean and scratch free instrument panels. No matter how careful I am the instrument panel gets micro scratches.
Interior Glass:
First, blow-out and vacuum your interior.
Second: clean and hand buff your vinyl dash and/or door panels with PlastX.
3rd: seal/protect it/them with 303 UV Protectant.
4th: THEN clean your interior glass with Glass cleaner in a Can like SprayWay or Mother's. Read the directions on the can. Cover dash with a large towel prior to spraying glass. Spray 1/3 of the glass or less to do smaller sections. Avoid or shake out rags with lint. Cotton dress socks over your hand may help. Try using the backside of your hand and fingers near the edges of you dash and side pillars.
Outside Glass: Buy a Nu Finish "Quick Clay Kit" (fake clay bar) it's amazing! Note: less pressure is more effective and nearly effortless!
I’m going to try it. I cannot stand dirty windscreens/windshields or any car windows for my truck and my wife’s car. Thank You for this! 🇺🇸 🇬🇧
My Walmart has a Murphys. I wash my windows there and they deal with the mess.
Window cleaning is a nightmare to most people now listening to a perfect solution
The best method I've ever used! Thank you
I use ONR one wet rag and one dry don’t need nothing else
I'd still say use Bilt Hamber trace-less
Interesting video. How long do your synthetic leathers last .? What is best method to keep synthetic leathers supple and clean ?
Excellent
No way is that dash bigger than full size snooker table , maybe a 6 by 3- table and that’s at a push . 📏📐and you thought YOU were sarcastic.😁👍
Beautiful job and great tips
water and spit then a newspaper
I was told by a auto detailer to use bottle water. It works.
The streaks are always either grime or dried cleaning solution. Your method takes one element out and fully cleans the glass. So it makes total sense.
I will try this in a few weeks. I just spent a good hour buffing out 409 with mechanic napkins to remove any leftovers. Glass looks great but I'm gonna be sore lmao
I've always found that those synthetic leathers eventually break down and leave powdery residue on the glass. A clean microfiber used the same way seems better to me.
