Change water EVERYDAY!!!!🎉
I cut the stems, didn’t trim off the lower leaves, and then directly replanted again back into my outdoor planter box. Do you think it will survive? Also the water doesn’t seem to seap through all of my soil….?
Why didn't the ones in the soil grow?
what's the benefit of doing this vs just breaking up the existing roots and planting them?
Infinite Basil Glitch.
Thanks for sharing.🌿
👍🤝✨✨
is it me or basil tastes weird when growing them in just water
Hi
Hydroponic propagation needs hydroponic fertiliser!
mine were growing so big but have been dying because of the cold weather any tips?
Lol yeah ima steal single steam from the grocery store and start my own farm
I have tried this twice with no success. Maybe I should use distilled water.
Thank you so much
What if the stems don’t have leaves ?? I’m trying to revive one 🤔, the stems are green so I think there hope…. Any advise
Wait so the original one hasn't grown like that? It's hard to tell but I think I did see a little more growth on the original basil 👀 can anyone help?
Just did this 🙂 It worked now I have tons of basil !
Very nice
That is a really good idea. I always plant my basil and it just grows and grows and I would much prefer to have a little bit of basil as opposed to some overgrown basil.
Can you do this with store-bought parsley
You can sprout them in the same amount of time with less work by putting them into soil directly instead of water. Keeping the water clean for two weeks takes more work than watering it every couple of days for two weeks
Can the same process be followed for mint?
Correction needed: START WITH A STARTER PLANT FROM A LOCAL ORGANIC FARMER. fk the store!
Yesssss mine became crazy big!!
Can I grow pasley like this too
I followed your precise instructions, but my basil cuttings were wilted and dead in the glass within a week ☹️
This is a basil addiction… I didn’t need to know … I’m heading to produce!!
basil invation
What is the music from?
It sounds pretty cool😎😊
it molded
i just searched basil expecting to find omori, but uhm. no.
I’ve literally done this dozens of times and the basil always dies. There’s something you’re not showing.
i try to do this and it just rots. i even change the water 🙁
Sink water or distilled water? Replace Water or leave the same water during the 2 weeks?
My grocery store Basil never grows, now i know why.
No joke, Everytime I buy basil from the store, it's dead completely in two days.
Can I just keep the basil in water and never plant them in soil?
This method works for sure, but using scissors and exposing a little extra meristem with each cut makes root growth happen more quickly.
omori fans after you cut of the stem: 😨
Could I grow this out of the top of my red ear sliders tank, with the pothos I have growing out of the tank
Basil…Basil…Basil from Omori? No…the plant…right…haha…
So basically cloning? Sweet 😊
Cheaper to buy a pack of seeds and grow from scratch
I’m trying this with basil and mint. Both are initially wilting. Is that normal?
Can you do this with packaged basil that didn’t come with a pot of dirt? My basil is already cut so would i be able to just throw them in water?
I have 5 pots of different basil props… i gotta stop. I need a big a bag type pot
