This next year, I would like to grow Malabar (New Zealand) spinach.
Aphids are still a problem here zone 7b
We raise bed, in ground, and container garden. I currently just use 5 gallon buckets. But I'm liking these grow beds, may give a try in the future. Have you ever grown cucumbers in them?
Here in the San Francisco Bay area the cabbage white butterflies are still laying eggs, and the larva are eating up our kale and collards like crazy, as well as the slugs and snails!
Mama Hoss looks too cool for school 🙂😎🌱
Greg didn’t want to put his hands in that cold, soupy compost.
I have been remiss in letting yall' know how great my Hossinator jalapeno plugs did this year. I got them in March, was harvesting my mid-May and I am still getting jalapenos in mid-December (9A). Along with lots of fresh eating, pickling and giving to friends, I have prepped and froze over 15lbs to candy. LOTS of my friends will be getting Cowboy Candy for Christmas. Thank you!!
It's expensive to get started with container gardening but once you have it, you have it for years. I'm past the age and physical ability to plow up ground and keep it weeded, so raised beds and grow bags have become my garden. It's much easier to plant and maintain raised beds and grow bags and keep them weed free.
Really enjoying your videos and knowledge, thanks for being there providing great content
Ya missed one…….move south of the 45th lol
Keep up the good work !
Could I start collard seed indoors now and plant carrots out now in zone 7 or is it too late?
Do yall carry Pro Mix? For pick up. Of course.
Doc said I might be back in the garden if things go right, in about a week. Praying things go right lol. 🙏
I live in Central Florida! Still harvesting cherry tomatoes.
