I watched this video today and fixed my leaky cistern. All these pro plumbers saying they never use silicon. Well, I'm no pro but I used it to make up for my incompetence 🙂
уфффф….. детали с пластиковой резьбой затягивать накидным ключом…….вот я хилый парень 60кг 180см и даже мне хватит сил затянуть эти соединения так,чтобы резиновые прокладки надежно перекрыли отверстия. Плюс в нормальных арматурах в комплекте идет пластиковый ключ для подтягивания сливного клапана…..

If you read the instructions you don't need to use silicone.
I use Plumbers Gold instead of silicone.

Dont mind the silicone there as its easy pulled off. But hate it when its used in addition to the doughnut washer
