  1. Tried augering the trap; emptied the toilet and bowl using a wet-dry vac because I thought the blue, toilet bowl gel/cleaner gunk might be the problem and I still had issues with the toilet not always evacuating. Checked out your video. Upon inspecting my hose in the fill-tube, the hose was just placed inside and not on its hook. I believe you solved my issue – thank you, sir!

  2. I see this is an old video, so don't know if I'll get a reply. But my toilet seems to work correctly as shown in your video, except that at the end, when the tank is refilling and water is flowing into the pipe, the toilet bowl stops filling. The tank keeps filling, and there is a steady small stream of water going into the vertical pipe in the tank. But none of that water seems to be supplying the bowl. The water in the bowl appears to be merely what is retained at the end of the flush. I'm not sure where the water is going that goes into the tank pipe, but it's not going into the bowl. Any ideas? The bowl ends up with plenty of water in it (right up to the manufacturer's fill line), but the bowl has just a dinky amount.

  3. Thank you so much. I have had to take over home repairs for my Mom and I since I divorced and my father died so there is no man that I can count on to help me figure things out and fix what is needed around our house. I've learned so much from gentleman like you who have taken the time to make videos and post on youtube to teach others how to DIY for ourselves. I am ever grateful for the time you have taken to show us how to complete these tasks.

  4. I have a push button flusher so the inside looks nothing like the one in your example but I can understand how my parts work based on your video . Was able to make the adjustments and now the bowl is filling all the way. Thank you!

  5. Thank you for this video!!! It has been driving me crazy with the water level and I didn’t know for the life of me how to fix it outside of adding water to the tank. My water line was floating in the tank

  6. Thank you for the video… I want my water level to be low but when I turn it left or counter clockwise, when I flush, it doesn’t give me a complete flush because there is not enough water in the tank to flush it .. what am I doing wrong?

  7. You mention the tank not draining enough can be a problem. I think that’s my problem bc the water level is above the factory water line mark, but it barely drains any water out of the tank before it shuts off. I didn’t catch the fix for the tank not draining completely or nearly completely before it starts filling up again. Any help appreciated!

  8. Thank you for this helpful video! I'm trying to create an emergency water source for my dog in case of unexpected absences. I have a clean, unused toilet bowl set aside for this purpose. Is there a way to set up a very slow, consistent trickle of water into the bowl to keep it fresh, while minimizing water waste? Thank you so much
