In 1984 when I had my first custom home built I added the white rocks for landscaping which was a huge maintenance mistake! Any debris that landed in my white rocks looked worse than if I had used natural bark. All debris stood out and looked dirty. That’s why few people use the white rocks now!

If you want fancy baseboards, reconsider for least number of dips in the trim for easier cleaning. Otherwise just collects dust. Something I wish we did when we moved into existing house was a motorized lift for our fancy crystal chandelier. Prefer to replace it at this point. Again, if you can't clean it without calling in speciality cleaning services, consider simple style or an accessible solution for cleaning.
Radiant heated driveway would be convenient in the northeast.
As a roofer and a gutter cleaner, gutter guards don’t work and I will charge more to remove them and if you want more to reinstall them, go for it home owners lol
