Indoor or Outdoor Growing? Pros & Cons!

Outdoor cost u last than 100 dollars u make flip and invest to indoor

In my opinion, indoor is better. But both is good.

I've grown outdoor in New Mexico. Extremely low maintenance. Just water every 3 days. That's it

Aphids are an issue in my yard but I have a lot of ants as well. Had a plant literally covered in aphids inside my grow tent, took it outside and the ants cleaned them all up within a day or two. I just so happen to have a nice environment but outdoors can be heartbreaking

Based on my experience, the Green house is the best method to grow bigger more potent and aromatic buds. If you are in a proper location for it.

You get the free light from the sun, and control everything else ureself.

Does anyone else have the same experience?

Personally, plants grown outdoor (or the indoor greenhouse that still uses the sun) have more 'happy' and 'uplifting' effects. The sun does seem to promote a different effect profile. I did this experiment with a single strain: One indoor non-organic, one indoor LSO, and one indoor with sun for light. LSO has more volatile terpenes, but the sun fed plants just produced more rounded effects.

If you have enough space go for outdoor. It's cheaper, the weed will look less good but if you used good genetics it will not matter. The small flowers and leaves can be used to make excellent hash, better than any indoor.

And if you choose outdoor and also don't have money for specific dry temperatures ? Just the home tempwrature that is affected from outside weather ?

It’s all the weather outdoors. And all the juice and equipment indoors. And not unaliving your plants 😂.

What about bit of both ?

I started my first grow outdoors just a couple of months ago. Figured I would try it since I had no budget for equipment. It’s a good way to learn, but I experienced a lot of obstacles that make me wish I started indoors.

Actually you have to guard against pests as well and you don't really have nature to help you with prevention

Indoor is best top money

If you live in the right climate there is almost no reason to grow indoors. The sun produces so much more for a fraction of the cost, only major expenses are soil and nutrients. If you don't have a yard or good weather conditions then indoor is the way to go.

Outdoor

I love growing out door. I tell my friends if you find seeds ill take them for free. I plant them in free dirt. I use free sunlight and water them with free rain water. Its all free i literally "set it and forget it" 😂😂😂

I do both, like this plant I did grow inside and budded it outside but it's winter so the light is a bit weak

Personally I like growing indoor a lot more, because I don’t have to deal with anywhere near as many pests and we get a lot of them here from white flies to grasshoppers to leaf miners, and caterpillars and with indoor I don’t get any of those little bastards so I don’t have to spray the plants with anything or spend over an hour meticulously searching every leaf for fkn caterpillars that eat whole chunks off the plants , plus indoor bud always comes out way more frosty and sticky with more trichomes and has a lot better look to it, and with how good and efficient the grow lights are now you can grow some amazing indoor bud without having to spend and extra 300-400$ a month on the power bill. The only way I’d ever grow outdoor again is if I had a nice greenhouse to keep the pests more at bay, and lived somewhere where it doesn’t get 100 degrees all summer long.

Ich hab sie auf der Terrasse in großen Töpfen. Weil unser Wetter nicht so gut ist . Im Zweifelsfall übernachten sie im Wohnzimmer. Aber sie wachsen.🙃😄

I just put them in a pot and use natural light and water to start off and then I'm gonna experiment with banna pills and egg shells

growing outdoors is really an adventure and mother nature must be gracious. especially in the summer it's more of a gamble. living in a very windy place so if i'm not quick enough bringing the pots inside, it's almost a bye bye to the plant. also last year a heat wave ruined the blooming phase of my plants. so i'm trying indoors for the first time now…

I do not believe that the lights they use for indoor grows are sufficient to give the plant all it needs, and is the reason that my yearly grow is done is a raised beds as well as 15 gal. pots in the outdoors moving the pots around to give them the best sunlight possible..

I've been growing my own for 54 years now, haven't ever grown indoors, granted outdoor growing certainly has its problems, untimely rain being the worst thing that can happen 😢
